I took my Schnoodle puppy, Austin, to the veterinarian this afternoon for two things:
- Check-up
- Prevention from ticks and fleas.
Austin, despite his usual active and lively temperament, has noticeably lost his appetite the past few days which bothered me a bit. Our vet prescribed an appetite enhancer to be taken at least once a day. Now Austin's under observation for the next five days.

For the tick and flea problem, Advocate was recommended. Aside from detering fleas, it also protects Austin from contracting heartworm disease. Sounds like a good promise so I agreed.
We'll return to the vet in four days for Austin's shots. I hope Austin gets better and regains his appetite by then.
Have you tried Advocate on your dog? How did it fare? I would appreciate your comments and feedback.
